sunnahunt12:21pm: American: Freedom to Fascism
FWD: Be informed!!!

Aaron Russo's film America: Freedom to Fascism will be airing on Insight cable's public access channel 14 on the following dates.

May 15 @ noon
May 16 @ 5 pm
May 17 @ 1 pm
May 18 @ noon

Please take the time to watch this film. It makes Fahrenheit 9/11 look like Disney on Ice, and does so without attacking a specific political party or political figure. If you can't catch these showings don't worry, I'll be having it aired more in the future.

There is a forward I received. Sorry it isn't about music, but I felt some people here might get some benefit from the post. Delete please if this isn't allowed or upset anyone. If you are interested here is the trailer.

zapparulesz123:03pm: Looking for bands and places to play
I'm Jason from Trygemany(myspace.com/trygemanyband). We're touring through the states and got a little behind on booking. We're looking for places to play in Kentucky from April 30th-May 7th.

If any band wants to help us land a show, we can offer Show Trading in Metro-Detroit or elsewhere.

If you can't help us find a show, but would like to play with us, contact me and we might be able to get you into something aswell.

E-mail: comm-298177828@craigslist.org (it's from my craigslist ad. We all hate spam and spam robots, don't we?). You can also contact me directly on my myspace page(see the top friends on Trygemany's Page)

Thanks!

This last one I'm especially excited about because I'll get to see Keaton Simmons play on stage.  I had the great opportunity to meet him in Knoxville last month and because my friend and I weren't going to be able to make it to his set (we were on our way to another concert), he insisted on playing for us out in the parking garage.  I was instantly hooked.

This is one of my favorite of his songs:

I hope you all can make it out early enough to see him open for Josh Kelley a week from Saturday.

At 12:14 p.m, Friday, October 27, 2007 we lost a great father, husband, son, nephew, brother and a great friend to many. Jeremy Walters died tragically and needlessly. My lil-brother fought die with all he had left for 36 hours but left for a better place. He can now be with his cousin B.B and hold heaven down. Jeremy, you will truly be missed. Love you forever lil-brother.

bitchopotamus2:20am: Wanted!
…a musical companion to initially develop ideas and then proceed to songwriting and producing. A multi-instrumentalist is the key to the process I have in mind. One need not be a virtuoso or “master” of any given instrument but must have taste to apply to their ideals. Simplicity is the key idea I hold for the music to be produced. Furthermore, I’m looking forward to see what you have to offer in a musical setting. Whether it your ideals are strictly musical or pertaining to vocals, I am lending an ear to anyone with the will to use it.

I am a 23 year old who has taken some time off from music to allow my tastes to mature and to gather a sense of where my ideals should go. Recently, I have begun to step out of a writers block and have been penning lyrics as well as putting forth an effort to craft pieces of music in whole. However, I find my musical ideas need creative intervention of a second party to come to fruition and hope to find someone in the same predicament.

Here are some bands that interest me,

Sigur Ros, Haujobb, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Neil Young, Amina, Enigma, Fischerspooner, Fluke, Gary Numan, Infected Mushroom, Keane, Pearl Jam, Schiller,

Any feedback is appreciated.
